E-Collar Contact Points For Educator E-Collars
E-Collar Contact Points For Educator E-Collars
Couldn't load pickup availability
Upgrade your Educator E-Collar with a comfort contact pad designed to improve skin contact, distribute stimulation more evenly, and reduce the concentrated pressure caused by standard contact points. Choose from three E-Collar Technologies winged contact-point options for short-coated dogs, long-haired or double-coated dogs, and large dogs with thick coats or sensitive skin.
These replacement E-Collar contact pads feature two flexible wings that help maintain consistent contact as your dog moves. Better contact may allow the receiver to work more reliably without overtightening the collar. Select the option that matches your dog’s coat, skin sensitivity, and neck size.
Which contact pad should I choose?
CPAD-010 Soft Wing Contact Pad — Short or Medium Single Coats
Choose the Soft Wings for dogs with short-to-medium, single-coated fur. Its less-aggressive wing design is made to reach the skin while providing a comfortable alternative to standard contact points.
Recommended for coat types similar to:
-
Boxer
-
Beagle
-
Bloodhound
-
Corgi
-
Other short-haired or medium-haired, single-coated dogs
The CPAD-010 has gold-plated titanium wings with brass contact points. It is not intended for dense double coats.
CPAD-011 Ultra Wing Contact Pad — Long Hair and Dense Double Coats
Choose the Ultra Wings for dogs with long, thick, or densely packed double coats. The more aggressive wing shape helps move through heavy fur and maintain dependable skin contact.
Recommended for coat types similar to:
-
German Shepherd
-
Husky
-
Akita
-
Labrador Retriever
-
Chow Chow
-
Samoyed
-
Bernese Mountain Dog
-
Other long-haired, thick-coated, or double-coated dogs
The CPAD-011 has gold-plated titanium wings with brass contact points. It is designed for dense coats and is not recommended for single-coated dogs.
CPAD-033 Titanium Flex Wings—Large — Thick Coats, Sensitive Skin, and Necks Over 17 Inches
Choose the Large Titanium Flex Wings for dogs with long, thick, or dense fur and necks measuring more than 17 inches in circumference. Its more aggressive wing design reaches through heavy coats, while the titanium contact points may be a good choice for dogs with sensitive skin.
The flexible wings spread stimulation across a broader contact area for consistent contact and response. This option features gold titanium wings finished with titanium contact points.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will these contact points fit my Educator E-Collar?
They fit the compatible E-Collar Technologies systems and receivers listed above. Check the model number printed on your receiver before ordering. RX-050 and RX-070 receivers require a different comfort pad.
Which option is best for a short-haired dog?
Select the CPAD-010 Soft Wings for a short-to-medium, single-coated dog. Its gentler wing profile is intended for coats like those of Boxers, Beagles, Bloodhounds, and Corgis.
Which option is best for a German Shepherd, Husky, or other double-coated dog?
Select the CPAD-011 Ultra Wings for most long-haired or densely double-coated dogs. Its more aggressive wing profile is designed to reach through thick fur. For a large dog with a neck over 17 inches—or when titanium contact points are preferred—consider the CPAD-033 Large Titanium Flex Wings.
Which contact pad is best for sensitive skin?
The CPAD-033 uses titanium contact points, and the manufacturer notes that its gentle titanium finish may benefit dogs with sensitive skin. Individual dogs can react differently, so inspect the contact area regularly and discontinue use if irritation develops.
Do I need to shave my dog’s neck?
A properly selected winged contact pad is designed to reach through the appropriate coat type, so shaving generally should not be necessary. Parting or lightly trimming exceptionally dense fur may improve contact without shaving down to the skin.
How tight should the e-collar be?
The receiver should remain in stable contact without restricting breathing or causing discomfort. It should not rotate freely around the neck. Check the contact area regularly, reposition the receiver during extended wear, and follow the collar manufacturer’s fitting and wear-time instructions.
What is included?
One replacement E-Collar Technologies winged comfort contact pad in the selected variant. The e-collar receiver, strap, and remote transmitter are not included.
